Usage & recommendations

For safe handling, always wear protective gloves, eye protection and a protective face mask. Avoid contact with water or moisture. For underground applications, the use of a tunnel detector and hole punch tool is recommended for optimal results.
When stored dry, airtight and moisture-free, this calcium carbide remains effective for at least 1 year..
