How does Taupe-Stop-Mole 52 work?
1 - Choose a fresh molehill
A fresh molehill can be recognized by the grainy texture of the soil. Then spread the soil evenly over the lawn.
2 - Locate the main horizontal tunnel
Carefully clear the opening with your fingers (wear gloves) or with a shovel. Make sure the opening is wide enough to detect the mole's tunnel on both sides, with a diameter of about 8 cm.
3 - Inserting the planting stick
Then insert the planting stick into the opening to create a bowl.
4 - Pouring the calcium carbide
Fill the lid of the pot with calcium carbide until it is completely covered, then pour it into the previously formed bowl.
5 – Adding water and forming gas
Fill the bowl containing the carbide with water until it is just full. The carbide will react immediately and produce gas.
6 - Position the TSM 52
As soon as smoke appears, place the TSM 52 over the opening. Make sure the circular marking on the device is correctly aligned with the mole tunnel.
7 - Activation
Place both feet firmly on the footrests. Wait 30 seconds.
Unfold the detonator rod, insert it into the slot of the device and push it forward. A controlled explosion will occur.
Note: Always activate the device while standing with both feet securely on it.
After the explosion, remove the detonator rod. You can then lift the TSM 52 and repeat the same steps on the next molehill.
After use
• Check that all parts are intact.
• Rinse with a garden hose and let it dry.
