How does the Taupe-Stop-Mole 52 work?
1 - Choose a fresh molehill
A fresh molehill can be recognized by the grainy texture of the soil. Then spread the soil evenly over the lawn.
2 - Locate the main tunnel
Gently clear the opening with your fingers (wearing gloves) or with a shovel. Make a hole about 8 cm in diameter, wide enough to see the mole's tunnel on both sides. Ensure that the hole remains smaller than the device so that it completely covers the opening.
3 - Inserting the dibber
Then insert the dibber into the opening to create a bowl.
4 - Pouring in calcium carbide
Fill the measuring spoon with stones until it is full, then pour them into the previously formed bowl.
5 - Adding water and forming gas
Completely fill the provided measuring spoon with water, then pour this amount of water into the cavity containing the carbide. The carbide reacts immediately and produces gas.
6 - Positioning the TSM 52
As soon as smoke appears, place the TSM 52 over the opening. Make sure the reference circle on the device is properly aligned with the molehill opening.
7 - Activation
Place both feet firmly on the footrests and wait 30 seconds. In the meantime, deploy the detonator rod.
After 30 seconds, slightly lift the device on one side, then set it back down on the lawn. Then insert the detonator rod into the slot of the device and push it forward: an explosion occurs.
Warning: activate the device only in a standing position, with both feet firmly stable on it.
After the explosion, remove the folding rod. Then take the TSM 52 from the opening and place it next to the treated molehill. Then repeat the steps at the next molehill.
Important usage protocol for maximum effectiveness
For optimal results, it is important to use the Taupe-Stop-Mole 52 according to the steps below:
On the first day, use the device on all molehills in your garden.
When several molehills are located within a diameter of approximately 1 meter, treat only one molehill.
After treating all selected molehills, flatten the untreated molehills.
This allows you to easily identify new activity the following day.
In the following days:
Check your garden daily for new molehills.
Treat each new molehill individually using the device.
Repeat this process daily until no new molehills appear.
Depending on the level of activity, this process may take 3 to 5 days.
Daily monitoring is essential to ensure fast and optimal results.
